Venezia, September 9, 2025 A very special birthday dinner in the most special chef restaurant in Venice. In the pics, only the traditional desserts (semifreddo, tiramisù and panna cotta), with a twist. But ask my husband about his Gazpacho with Piennolo tomatoes, carasau bread and sprouts (starter), followed by a Fillet of Piemontese Fassona beef ‘Cazzamali’ selection with mustard sauce and mashed potatoes with basil (main course), vino macerato (amazing) and a wonderful home made limoncello; or my son about a Poached “Mountain Egg” with porcini mushroom foam, bread crisp, Wagyu guanciale, and beetroot powder; or about the Tasting of mini burgers of Chianina “Fracassi Butcher” and Fassona “Cazzamali selection” with plantain chips and kafir lime mayonnaise, that I ordered. In short, absolute perfection. Besides, service is outstanding and the atmosphere is elegant and cozy at the same time. You just feel at home. We also purchased three beautiful exclusive t-shirts ("Bread" is the name of the brand): impressive quality, great designs (suitable for the whole family).

Wonderful steak near the Frari church. Wife and I ate there twice during our recent visit to Venice, reservations recommended. The steak is big enough for two and comes on a hot iron pan to keep it warm. The service was impeccable and the wait staff were extremely friendly and engaging. They accommodated my bride’s food allergies (gluten, onion, garlic) with no problem. The wine list was extensive and perfect for the occasion and the food is presented as a work of art. It’s a touch pricey as quality steak usually is but for me well worth the money. Will definitely eat here again when we return to Venice.

It’s is such a amazing dining experience, I recommend they octopus with black garlic it was really the best octopus I ever ate. Normally octopus is very rubbery, but here it was like butter! So when in Venice you must come here

Beyond amazing, we will forever remember our experience here. We ate the prosciutto so fast I didn't get a pic, it was like butter, and with the focaccia it is perfect.

Honestly, it was the best restaurant we did in Venise. Food was amazing, quality too. The service was excellent, everyone was friendly and gave us good advice. I strongly recommend

We hadn't reserved a place on a busy Saturday evening. However the created space and we had time to eat till a certain time. The food and wine was great and the service was okay. It would probably be better if we weren't in the clock.

Lovely restaurant. What stood out was the fact that they taken us in without a reservation. We were rudely told off by a restaurant nearby and this was a complete 180. Service was professional and not overbearing and does not do the "hows everything" speech which i really appreciate. Food, best octopus we've had better than what we had in Spain. Beef tartar was fresh, different than the French but I like the larger chunks so you can taste the meat better. Steak was the one that didn't do it for me. Filet asked for rare, because the piece was split into two, it was slightly overcooked. Cut could be a bit better. Really good tiramisu. New spin compare to the traditional. If you don't like the sogginess of the traditional ladyfingers, this would do well. Great wine suggestion as well. Good price point for what was served. Not a tourist a trap which is always a plus.

I had the lunch set menu which is great value for four courses! I really liked their house bread for its perfect softness and chewiness. The opening bite was an eggplant ball, nothing too special. Then we had focaccia with prosciutto. Something about the prosciutto was special in the sense that it was very soft and didn’t have the harsh smell of cured meat. Then we have the Wagyu ravioli. I thought the flavor was great but the ravioli was a bit hard and the broth was kind of salty. The tiramisu dessert is pretty famous and looked extravagant, but I felt that there was too much mascarpone cream and a bit on the sweeter side. For 40 euros, I was pretty full!
